MERRY CHRISTMAS!! :D yesterday was so much fun! welcome home to all that's back :D :D :D and those that are still in melb, hope u guys had an awesome christmas :)

also, big thank you to all of you who helped me heaps ( SAM ESPECIALLY) during the period when the accident occurred. it made so much difference with the love and concern and of course prayers that you guys showed me! <3

ANYWAYzZZ..

I've been reading "God came near" by max lucado. it's awesome. so many of us needed to have a divine surgery to have our eyelids cut open to see Jesus. we passed by so many things that reflect His glory and majesty. Yet, we failed to see His hands upon it. i shall copy this paragraph that i read today. it's so beautifully true.

"The world was different this week. It was temporarily transformed. The magical dust of christmas glittered on the cheeks of humanity ever so briefly, reminding us of what is worth having and what we were intended to be. WE forgot our compulsion with winning, wooing and warring. We put away our ladders and ledgers, we hung up our stop watches and weapons. We stepped out off our race tracks and roller coasters and looked outward toward the star of Bethlehem.

above all stay close to God even through this holidays ya....remember God is never on holiday from us...so continue to love Him and seek Him in all things, through challenges, study, loneliness, emotions, all things just lay it at His feet and everything will work out fine. It's all about faith ya!!
and challenges are all invitations from God to move forward...

Ok ok…….i noe sum of u guys r shocked tat I’m actually updating but pls understand, sometimes the king has smth to say and not leave it to his minions (Sam, Tim, Mun & Dan. *Names are mentioned according to ranks).hahaha.

Well, u guys might be wondering wad kind of title is tat… doesn’t make any crazy sense…Let me xplain, the king refers to us, our inner selves, our own spirit, our own thoughts, our own needs and other things related just to us only…and u all shud noe tat our spirit/soul is dead becos of the sins we’ve commited BUT thnx to Jesus Christ Himself & God, we are renewed, we are filled wif a new spirit, a new soul a.k.a the Holy Spirit which is everlasting and forever there for us. That’s why long live the KING.. after all, the Father, Spirit & Son are 3 in One…. Actually got dis quote from Pastor Rob Bradbury on da 07/12/2008 Planetshakers City Church which was absolutely amazing..
Pastor Rob also mentioned about being grateful for the things we have and never complain and don’t look back into the past because looking back into the past will bring the sins from the past into the present. Tat’s why, ALWAYS MOVE FORWARD AND LOOK AHEAD…

When he mentioned gratefulness and the quote, something struck me. When Sam had his first Christian thingy talk wif me, it was also about the renewal of the Holy Spirit in our body. I remember it so clearly…. At tat moment, I was SUPER DUPER grateful to God that he put Sam into my life and through Sam, I’ve known all of you, wonderful ppl, unique ppl and most importantly, the miracle creations of the Almighty One. To tell u guys the truth, every single one of you have brighten up my life in MANY DIFFERENT ways ( maybe tat’s why u owez see me lafing out loud and smiling all da time and nvr sad…..Seriously, thank God and thank you guys * u guys noe one la, I’m rarely in the mood to thank ppl so be GRATEFUL hahaha *

I would like to share another case wif u guys…. Dis morning, I just received the news bout my uncle passed away… My bro came into my room and told me bout it around 4 smth in the morning and said that I’ve to work today (Monday and Sunday r my day off). Upon hearing tat, I had no reaction and went back to sleep. Fortunately, my mum and my nephew came into my room later to wake me up and my mum asked me whether I knew why I have to replace my cousin and work today and I answered my mum smoothly in the sense tat I don feel sad about mentioning my uncle’s death. Maybe I wasn’t close enough with him. However, when I was boarding the tram to work, I started thinking in my cousin’s shoe. Maybe I still have lots of stuff to say to him, to prove to him, to achieve for him and most importantly, to love him forever. At tat moment, I was listening to the song u r listening now (I just want you) and u’ve no idea how EMO I was ( for the record, the amount of time u see me emo is the amount of time u see Tim shy when he’s toking to a girl *ahem ahem grain express* hahahahahaha) anyway, back to serious business… I knew tat now it’s impossible for my cousin to do so because it’s a bit too late….At the same time, I saw a guy who’s very fat and carrying a big bag pack chasing after the tram I’m in and he was quite far away. In my heart, I was trying to tell him “COME ON, you can do it as long as you believe & don give up.” Thank God, he managed to catch up but when he got on the tram, he sat on the chair like a dead man oredi hahaha. Few minutes later, an old woman got off the tram I was in and she was walking wif a crutch. She reached a place where there were steps and it seemed pretty unstable and difficult for her to walk up. Once again, I had the same thought and thank God once again, a young guy who dressed up like a punk helped her along the way. Well, there are still kind ppl in dis world and NVR JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER….After witnessing these 2 cases, it struck me that why haven’t I encourage and cheer up my cousin yet…. I was like “ Lik, wad r u tinking!!?!??!?!?” Then I started praying in my heart for him…. So you see, God really works in His own ways to enlighten us in many different ways.

Therefore, dear yi wei clan members… wadeva you want to do and feel like doing or saying or sharing, I say do it without DELAY, without hesitation and courage!!!! ( oh yea mun yee, ure boldness post was really encouraging but pls don beat my yi-wei ness haha) before it’s too late. After all, you nvr noe wad will happen tomolo. GO FOR IT!! COME ON!! But always remember to pray first and seek His guidance. Other than that, always be grateful and also encourage and help the ppl around us because it definitely has an effect in ppl’s lives no matter how big or small it is but bear in mind, we do it is to please God so do it with a pure heart (read dis somewhere in Daniel).

Ok….. tat’s all folks…. Hope u guys get the msg and if you guys have anyth to share, just SHARE IT!!!! u wan to share your yi weiness also can, after all, it’s a yi wei blog… anyway, I’m goin to sleep nowww. Hafta wake up super early again….. Gd nite my fellow KUAI minions. God bless!! :D

P.S: For da first time I actually shed tears while singing & worshipping and tat first was 07/12/2008 @ Dallas Brooke, Planetshakers City Church… wad a day…. Seriously, wad a day tat was… BTW, CONGRATS TO LEE!!! NEW BROTHER IN CHRIST.. everyone pls pray for him.. Suddenly I just thought of one of Pastor Josh’s fav words; “Father, will you bless him from the crown of his head to the sole of his feet ………….and all the young people of Jesus say AMEN!!!!!! :D

If you guys (Sam, Lik, Allan, Shell still here?) are free to go for a performance from church on tuesday night.

i read this in my devotions today.

If we intend to succeed at being ourselves, we must reach a point where we can be led by the Holy Spirit. Being led by the Spirit does not mean that we dont make mistakes. The Holy Spirit doesnt make mistakes, but we do. Following the Spirit's leading is a process which can only be learned by doing. WE start by stepping out into things we believed God is putting on our hearts, and we learn by wisdom and experience how to hear more clearly and definitely.

Boldness is required to be led by the Spirit because,
1. Only boldness step out.
2. Only boldness can survive making mistakes.
When insecure people make mistakes, they often will never try again. Bold people make many mistakes, but their attitude is "I'm going to keep trying until i learn to do this right".

Those who suffer from condemnation usually dont believe they can hear from God. Even if they think they may have heard from God and do a step out, a minor mistake is a major setback to them.

Be bold. Be determined that you are going to be all God wants you to be. Dont hide behind fears nad insecurities any longer. If you have already made blunders in your life and have been living under condemnations because of them, this is the time to PRESS ON! you're reading this for a reason, I encourage you to take this message personally just as though God's talking to you directly through it.

Be determined to press on toward victory.
