I think I mentioned my visa application to you guys on sat/sun...but really thank God for what happen today!!
To cut a long story short:
I was expecting to meet up with the lim's and get the other yiwei members to come out and just hang out after I got my visa on friday. The visa application got processed way ahead of schedule and I was like thanking God for having the visa approved so quickly(I sort of assumed that the visa application was successful). So I went to the visa application centre and got the parcel with my documents in it, and once I opened it......"REFUSAL OF CLEARANCE ENTRY"....was the first words I saw...and ya u know the rest...making phone calls to the high commission ruined my day not to mention my weekend where we got a trip to genting planned...had to cancel it cos I needed to be in K.L on monday...damn...so sorry guys..especially to Lik...didnt manage to bring u anywher....haiz...
back to the visa thingy...ya the appeal letter stated it was gonna take one month at least to process the appeal...and I thought: oh no...I might not be able to make it to the UK...and through out the weekend I was like worrying...playing the different scenarios that might happen at the UK high comission on monday:"they might overturn the decision then and grant a visa..yeah" or "no...its gonna be complicated..and it gonna take a month and I'm screwed" etc. etc...basically just worrying and not having enough faith in God that things will work out..
Then today I rang the british high commision to talk to someone...and I manage to get in touch with Miss Chong...a lady in charge of the appeals..and I just pleaded my case to her..saying I gotta get this visa really quick and I've attached additional back up documents etc. etc...and I was half expecting she was just gonna be like the other people I talked to:"er sorry sir..we cant do much...you can try lodging an application again which cost another RM535 but might be quicker than appealling bla bla bla...". BUT..THANK GOD!!SHE WAS SUPER HELPFUL AND NICE!!!...she sounded really nice and patient and ask me when I was leaving...and said she will let the clearance officer reveal my application asap....and talking about asap....i thought ya maybe I'll get a ring end of the week...but when I got home...she gave me a ring and said that I can collect my passport on wednesday and the visa's been approved!!!yeepee!!!Once I heard the news i was thanking God, amazed at how He works, how He answers prayers if you A.S.K (Ask,Seek,Knock) and how foolish I was for lacking in faith.
oh ya..really wanna thank dad for allowing me to "borrow" his site office and staff to photocopy and print my appeal documents and mum for driving me to the British High Comm and for the nice Dim Sum afterwards...kakaka...and of course thank heaps for all the prayers from you guys..really appreciate it!!!
Wah long post again....I didn't really cut the long story short did I??....sorry ya its a bit tedious to read..my England..I mean english..no good la...kakaka...

Shell's gone 2 Italy..abit quiet at home now..sob* sob*...longest period without seeing her...needs some getting used 2....really thank the clan for organizing the farewell and just being ther always 4 us...really thank God for you guys!! I'm sure shell will look after herself la..kakaka..wont get a italian boyfren (I hope..)kakaka...but ya continue to grow and explore the world..and above all stay close to God and come back empowered...hehe...

hehe...ya...dad's getting old...i always say his officially half a century old now..and by september dad and mum will officially add up to 100 year old. ..kakaka...
didnt really do much...actually cos mum and sis went 2 Italy the saturday night..i thought ok I'll drive mum's car to church the next day..so I asked daddy whether I can drive the car and out of the blue he said he'll go to church with me!!!..i was like stunned (literally like the dota stunned)...
So we went to church the next day and my dad was had a "I m gonna get bored" sort of look initially and i guess the chinese P&W songs didnt help since he didnt understand them(and so i thought...)...
so b4 the sermont I just prayed that God will give him an open heart and I told my dad to just listen to the sermont...and he ended up quite enjoying it!!including the P&W songs!!!hehe...he told me like it was so different compared to like 10 years ago...the church has like LCD projectors,sound control, and the sermont was actually applicable!!really thank God so much!!ya it might be sometime still b4 he makes tat commitment...but it definitely is the beginning of something great!!!had a great time eating chicken rice 4 lunch as well..thanks Uncle Michael, i mean Michael gogo...again...hehe..
and at night during dad's birthday dinner organized by the company~~i really was like double stunned!!..dad just gave like a bday speech and the first few things he mentioned was actually going to Church tat day!!!..and he told all his colleques the same thing he told me..and of course he did mention how the interior design of the church was great since they were a ID company...but still...its like thank God*2 man!!!..hehe...
ya had a great bday wif dad...had a great dad 2 son time...and just to cap the day off..
MU won by 3-0 over Chelsea!!yeah!!!
kakaka...again getting 2 carried away....keep the blog and the yiweiness happening ya!!

hey guys!!!!how's everyone??
1st of all goodbye to tim....went bak 2 melbourne 2 reunite wif yiwei queen (aka wife) and the rest of the remaining yiwei clan....kakaka....won't c u in half a years time man...all the best in everything ya....studies,BGR stuff..erhem...and above all..grow spiritually as well...Ps.Ho shared two verses at the service today, Psalm 1:1-2 and Joshua 1:8.."meditate on the law day and night"...was a challenge and encouragement for me..hope it is for you as well...hehe...continue to be an encouragement to others ya!!
and just to get the new year resolution thing started off..ya i know it sounds a bit old fashion..I'll share abit of wat I wan to accomplish in 2009:
firstly of course is going 2 UK....gonna be fun and challenging as well...hopefully I can come through this test of faith...being more independent/initiative/step out of my comfort zone bla bla bla..in short I really hope that God will use this experience to mould me into the man he wans me to be...
other than that of course is continue to grow and know more on God's words....not only know..but actually put it into practice..something i think i lacked...
two scriptures in particular...
Galatians 6:9- to not be weary in doing good and NEVER GIVE UP!!!!...
which sort of leads on to the second verse...
2 Peter 3:18 - patients towards the salvation of others
So ya..I really hope that this two verses will act as an encouragement to me to strive to do good to everyone..family and friends..and being patient..knowing that it is God's timing not my own..and God's promise WILL come to pass as long as I don't give up..
wah...feels like a personal Sam's blog in here doesn't it..kakaka...okie I better stop here getting carried away...
Hopefully this gets something kick started...kakaka...
